Pedra Branca - Feijoada Polifonica

This is the electronic interpretation of my Mantra for the Element of Air. When I feel the wind on my skin, in my hair, I feel alive. The healing power of the Air is strong, clearing out old dust, creating space for new thoughts, new ideas. I give thanks with this music to the Air, the Father Sky - Sun, Moon and Stars. I hope that they receive my Love.

I feel very blessed to have worked together with one of my favorite artists Binder @bindersounds in this project, who created a remix and added his own feelings and understanding of this Element to the track.

Maroments In Love [Ramin Sakurai Remix] (feat. Basya Schechter)

For this our sixth Botanas single series we have the pleasure to present two stunning original tracks and one beautiful edit from Canadian producer Oonga (who you might have spotted on our Mare Insularum compilation). Oonga is a DJ/producer from Montreal who works with Stonetree Records. 

Opener El Caracol is one of the most personal tracks the artist has ever made. It is based on a poem written by Eli´s (Oonga) dad and dedicated to him. It was written after the two of them had a really deep conversation about hidden pain and then months later his dad showed him the words, and he was extremely moved and so created this beautiful track. 

This inspiration came at the same time as Oonga's exposure to the neo-folkloric slow cumbia tech sound while travelling. He put the two together and this special Botanas was born. His dear friend Ana adapted the words into Spanish and sang the melodies (as well as doing the art). 

Oonga´s music captured our ears right away and these three tracks are the perfect soundtrack to the end of the summer for those of us in the norther hemisphere or to welcome the end of the Winter and brighter times for all those down south!

This album is the result of several years of professional, internal and spiritual transformation. These internal searches were inextricably synchronized with external searches. A new sound, a new language, a completely different sphere of perception and transmission of material.

The fusion of electronics, downtempo, ethnic music and a state of no-mind in contact with spirit and nature revealed a completely unexpected taste that immerses into a real journey and this is how it is recommended you listen to this album - from the beginning to the end. There are no 'passing' tracks in order to simply 'fill the space'.
