Imagine you and all your friends reuniting, only, you're off to the side. You could be there, talking and hugging with them, but maybe you just don't have it in you anymore. Would it take too much energy? Or is it a lingering sadness, and a belief you don't deserve this sort of scene? That's roughly what Verse is experiencing at this point in Elancia's story. She'd almost rather be anywhere else. Everyone looks so happy, though...
This track will feature on the third Elancia album, coming out this winter.

Remember the reminiscent ending music in the last scene of Sonic Adventure 2? I took the sample & flipped it!

This year has been a rollercoaster. I started off the year sharing a (what is still my favorite) remix of Rouge the Bat's theme from SA2 that actually was fairly successful. I decided to keep doing more sample flips & they were--for the most part--all hits across social media. I decided I wanted to end 2020 the same way I started it: with a SA2 remix. I can't thank you all enough for your support. Here's to 2021!
