This tune started with me fooling about on the piano and quickly turned into a really nice Ace Attorney cross examination theme. For this version of the theme, I tried to craft that feeling of seeking to find the truth in a web of lies but not exactly knowing where to start.

"So I had never heard of antimony before, and upon googling I learned that it rarely occurs in a pure form naturally, and among the places it does in the world, the first one it mentioned ended up so happening to be 10 miles from my house! A place called "Antimony Peak".

Upon learning this, I shared with my gf, and she said "let's go climb it!". Wondering if that was even possible, I turned to google again, and discovered there was a hiking trail to the peak! And so off we went, for "research".

It ended up being one of the most difficult hikes of my life, but super worth it. I began hearing parts of this track whilst climbing the mountain with the namesake of the very element it was to represent. Pretty neat."

【BOFXVII】kaomoji party

submitted this to "AdLib Techno™" on Battle of the Bits earlier this year. Got 13th out of 19...which is more what I would expect for an entry this weird! (seriously i don't know why that's not more commonly where stuff as 'experimental' as mine places)

as usual for these soundcloud uploads of my opl2 tunes, this was written with mono in mind, but stereo added for the soundcloud release! For this one, I simply split things to hard L/C/R, making this feel a bit more like 9-channel opl3, rather than opl2 like it is

Nicktoons Unite! - Gameboy Advance soundtrack, 2005.  

Music uses 3 digi channels with the original gameboy 'chip' providing bass & percussion.   For the game the music was written as XM files then converted to GBA midi with a tool I wrote.  I've used the original XMs here to make a 're-mastered edition', so you get less software mixing fuzz that was part of the hardware's 'charm'.   Unfortunately I've lost the original file for the 'Chum Bucket' level so if you want to hear that you'll have to look on Youtube.
