Beepcord tourney 6, round 5. Prompt was to create a song based off of 1 of 5 images! 

I picked the stormy one shown in the thumbnail and went for a 'journey to the final confrontation' kinda vibe. It's cutoff here, but the image shows a dark blue sky off to the right that hints at the location being a summit. 

Since my songs for previous rounds were interconnected by motifs and pmd instrumentation, I decided to create a story using references to them. I referenced mind bloom to show what the (hypothetical) player had overcome, way up high to remind the player of everything they've seen so far, and finally a callback to yoltz's motif with a dark twist to remind the player what's at stake...

Emerging Development

Hello everyone! It's been a while. I'm happy to share with you my latest project, The Shimmering.  The Shimmering is an album that is dedicated and serves as a tribute to the old-school RPG Ahriman's Prophecy, developed by Aveyond Studios (formerly Amaranth Games) and released on March 7, 2004. It's a game I rather enjoyed back in my childhood  years and I always wanted to compose some music inspired by it. In this album I'm I am returning to my foundational pursuits in the composition of ambient music. It contains shorter dreamy tracks with more emphasis on atmospheric ambience. Enjoy~
