M ​A N I K ​has become one of Culprit LA's imprint’s signature artists and the one whose growth as a producer closely mirrored the label’s own rise. A New York native, M​A N I K ​has become even closer to C​ulprit ​in 2014 – physically, by moving to its home base of Los Angeles.

His upcoming EP “N​ightfall”​ is an analogue house cut. The original boasts a solid bass line, emotive vocal work and intense percussion. The remix comes courtesy of one of UK’s young rising production stars, T​hermalBear,​ best known for his releases on S​asha’​s Last Night on Earth label. Bursting onto the Progressive House scene in mid-2020, Fausto Javier Loza has carved out quite a name for himself with his FJL production moniker. Since a debut on Balkan United, the Argentinean producer has found his music allied to such esteemed imprints as sister Madlochs Sound Avenue and 3rd Avenue, Roger Martinezs HIGHER STATES and Mangos all-conquering Mango Alley. Now the Rosario resident from the province of Sante Fe, debuts on Proportion with a 3-track EP of the highest order as FJL presents his Alter Ego / Losstower / Rare Wizards EP. With a deep, fizzing bassline narrative running throughout the triptych, Alter Ego is a chunky rhythmic powerhouse that sees a chest-thumping kick paired with a deliciously grooved bass pattern creating a sublime rolling pattern. A kaleidoscopic array of effects and risers are scattered across the 6-minute piece as a delicate arpeggiated melody gradually evolves from the low-end foundation. Pulsating white-noise washes and a hypnotic dance-floor vibe add to proceedings in an impressive opener. A Tech House vibe infuses Losstower with its plethora of stereo-panned effects and sub-bass groove. A series of cleverly treated vocal effects add to the sonic melange with their eerie overtones, while meticulously programmed hats and shakers provide dancefloor urgency. Subtle melodic flourishes add to the overall feel and the result is a production masterclass from the FJL studio. The final offering sees Rare Wizards immediately showcase its club-friendly credentials through house rhythm and hypnotic bass sequence. In keeping with its partner tracks, a flurry of deep, dark and powerful effects make their presence felt alongside evolving textures and immaculate melodic touches. Layer upon layer of evermore intricate sounds come to the fore, felt especially keenly at the powerfully pulsing breakdown, before returning to the dramatic rhythmic urgency and plethora of effects that create a track bringing to mind such maestros such as John Digweed, Quivver and Jamie Stevens.

Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to present Storm EP, the stunning new release from Argentine producer Alan Cerra, featuring two compelling originals—Storm and Shadowed Echoes, alongside a dynamic remix from New-York based artist Nadav Vee.

The release lands on August 8th, bringing together progressive grooves, melodic emotion, and peak-time energy in equal measure. Alan Cerra has quietly become one of the most respected rising names in the melodic and progressive scene. Known for his sleek, groove-heavy productions and emotive atmospheres, Alan has released on acclaimed labels such as Siona Records, The Soundgarden, and Mango Alley, with support from global icons like Miss Monique, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Guy J. His ability to blend musical sophistication with dancefloor function is fully on display across both original cuts on this EP.

The title track, Storm, is a hypnotic roller built around rising tension and expansive melodic layers, while Shadowed Echoes dives deeper, exploring more introspective textures and intricate rhythms.

On remix duties, Nadav Vee—an artist known for releases on labels such as Plattenbank and Silver Joe—injects Storm with a lighter, bouncy edge, pushing the track into day-time territory while preserving its emotional core.  Moments, the acclaimed label, presents its nineteenth edition with a two-track release that continues the distinctive artistic vision. Spanning over fifteen minutes, the musical material unites label head and award-winning producer Guy Mantzur with Kamilo Sanclemente, the celebrated DJ and electronic music producer from Cali, Colombia. Their collaboration invites discerning listeners into a refined and immersive auditory journey.

The opening track, Nectar, delivers a brisk and vigorous rhythm anchored by a Giorgio Moroder-inspired bassline. A textured atmosphere unfolds over a classic house chord sequence, gradually expanding into an uplifting and psychedelic arrangement. This progression culminates in a dynamic climax crafted to ignite the dance floor with a surge of energy.

The second track, The Future is in the Past, built on similar aesthetic foundations, introduces a more tempered intensity. Michael Chiritos is a Venezuelan DJ and music producer currently based in the Mexican Caribbean. His musical journey began at a young age, curating CD selections for neighborhood restaurants  a formative experience that shaped his deep connection to sound and storytelling.
Driven by the desire to develop an authentic and personal sonic identity, Michael moved to Buenos Aires, where he studied music production and audio post-production. Immersed in the South American electronic scene, he refined his style through experimentation and cultural influence.
Today, his sound blends genres like Deep House, Afro House, Melodic House, Techno, Progressive House, and Organic House, creating immersive, emotional sets. Michael doesn’t aim to be a social media product he focuses on impacting audiences through talent, technique, and artistic integrity.
His music has been released on respected labels such as Natura Viva, Beatfreak Recordings, Awen Records, Ethereal Future Music, Whole Story Lab, and Squarenoise, among others. His tracks have been supported by major artists including D-Formation, Oostil, Artbat, Adriatique, Cosmic Gate Triart, Matan Caspi, Paco Osuna, Anfisa Letyago, Jos & Eli, Fernando Ferreyra, Damian Lazarus, and Antrim.
