48 Preludes & Fugues: Episode 1 is the first set of four-episode preludes and fugues composed by Chitpong Kittinaradorn in 2017-8.

Episode 1 is the foundation itself. Here I learned and laid down the components of music – of life, with relevant techniques and intricacies that are fundamental to good art. Of equal importance, I learned and expressed many ways that these components can be put together to create the goodness, the beauty, and the truth – the whole that is harmonious and sound, delicate and engrossing, yet stimulating and exciting. These 6 preludes and 6 fugues are art in the absolute sense; that they do not refer to external meaning in an explicit way, but being the exhibits of the beauty of form, content, and pure emotion themselves.
