CHKLZ (chuckles) is a DJ/Production/Live Music Duo that was founded on the premise that "CHKLZ IS FOR EVERYONE!” Since their inception in 2021, the Doggies have been carefully curating their unique vibe of Groove Fiesta. Their signature “live shows” are always full of Pawsitive, high energy vibes, and include the use of live percussion/drums, live FX, original visuals, and crowd Pawticipation that always get the Doggies going on the dance floor. 

The dynamic duo of DJ iLL Choppo and LeMarshawn Jean first grew close while touring as musicians in the world famous heavy Nedal band Okilly Dokilly from 2018 - 2022. As members of this band, they received accolades, being featured in several major publications, including Rolling Stone. The Neds even made it onto the end credits of a Simpsons episode in April 2019. 

Since bursting onto the house music scene in 2021, CHKLZ has quickly become a house music staple. The duo has earned festival performances since then at Friendzy Fest (Canada), Goldrush, Decadence, Gem and Jam, June Jam, Phx Lights, and Vibes Music Festival (Canada). Their music has been played at festivals like Shambhala, Wicked Woods, and Future Forest to name a few.

In 2023, CHKLZ completed two headlining tours in Mexico. The duo also notched support tour dates with both Pineo & Loeb (Canada) and Rumpus (Canada) in the US, Mexico, and Canada. The duo has more touring and label releases lined up for 2024, and they are working hard to spread their infectious brand of Groove Fiesta around the globe.
