Some good things come to life when you least anticipate them. 

Music-wise, I have never been happier. The ability to explore diverse genres, styles, and tempos has always been a dream of me. After hours of dancing, laughing, and vibing with the best people, I thought: Okay, that’s it. Time to go home. My legs were burning, my bed was calling me like the sweetest temptation – but just as I was heading for the door, he appeared.Out of nowhere, my very own fairy godfather appeared in my life. With a big smile, he asked, “ZuendHoelzl, does your name really say it all? Then show me what you got!”

The first few seconds felt like a rush. No plan, no time to think – just my heart racing as the first beats hit. The energy in the room was insane, and I felt like I was riding the wave with it. It was like I was part of something much bigger, something I’d always dreamed about, but now I was living it. I had no idea what was happening, but in that moment, everything felt right.
The music kept pouring out of me, the crowd was dancing, and the vibe in the air was so thick with excitement that I couldn’t believe it was real. The energy was so powerful, I felt like I couldn’t stop even if I wanted to. There was no room for nerves, no space for doubt – just pure connection and magic.

By the time I finished my set, I was drenched in sweat, speechless from the pure ecstasy of what I had just experienced. It was as if the night itself had carried me to a place where nothing else mattered. The cheers, the smiles, the connection – it was magic, pure and simple.

YOU GUYS made this night what it was.THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

And don’t worry – next time, I’ll play with a heads-up. 😉

✔️ Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? 

Ich habe im Berlin der 90er Jahre angefangen elektronische Musik aufzulegen und zu produzieren. Aufgehört habe ich damit bis heute nicht. 


✔️ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Die große Kunst, niemandem mit seiner Musikauswahl auf die Nerven zu gehen, ist wohl das Qualitätsmerkmal eines jeden Afterhour DJ's. 


✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Stell Dir vor Du stehst am Meer, auf einer kleinen Insel ca. 800km über dem Polarkreis. Die Sonne knallt Dir ins Gesicht, der Wind weht stark und Du steckst Barfuss im kalten Sand.

✔️ Wie hast du den Gig empfunden?

Das Set wurde am Sonntag Mittag auf dem Soria Gathering Festival (Midnight-Sun Festival) auf der Norwegischen Insel Værøy, Lofoten aufgenommen.

Es war das Sommersonnen-Wochenende, was so weit über dem Polarkreis, 24 Stunden lang Tageslicht bedeutet. Die Bühne stand direkt am Strand und die Kulisse der rauen Norwegischen Landschaft war wirklich sehr beindruckend.

In 2007 Mathias Liefeldt and Oliver Chlass formed the DJ-project Liefeldt & Chlass that soon became an established act in Berlin. 

It particularly took off, when they started their residency at legendary Sunday after hours @ „Salon zur Wilden Renate“.

From then on they were to be a constant part of the Berlin clubbing scene.

In 2013 both of them started to create their respective solo projects. It simply felt like the next logicla step.

Oliver plays a minimal and deep mixture of different styles along the lines of Techno. Inspired by situation & surrounding, by himself & his audience.
