It's time to return to another Word Is Love show playing tribute to  special nights throughout the world and we return to Glitterbox Classics recorded on the weekend of Defected Croatia in August 2021.  I wasn't able to make the Festival however this tribute made up for it. It's terrific fun and captures the essence of the Glitterbox dancefloor. 

There are a number of well known artists on this mix with music by David Morales, Kathy Brown, Sandy Rivera, Frankie Knuckles, Mousse T plus a whole host of Classic Disco that you will recognise.

The mix is a combination of Disco, Disco House and Soulful House vibes and is a great party mix.

Making his debut playing on the terrace was UpYerRonson favourite and UK House & Garage legend, Grant Nelson. Grant played for us a few years back inside the main room but we felt his music and style would be more suited for the outdoor terrace. Arguably the best set we've heard out there and without doubt the most requested and anticipated recorded set period! 
Personally I've followed Grant as a producer from the early 90's and my UpYerRonosn sets at The Pleasure Rooms were heavily influenced by his UK house and garage sound with his labels such as Nice 'N' Ripe being a particular favourite. The boy can not only produce dope music that spans across many different genres, he is also one of the best DJs I've had the pleasure of seeing up close and personal. 
He's been in the game over 30 years but you can see from his DJ sets that he still loves what he does and can feel the energy he creates!
