Water as the material of adaptation in excellence remains the unique condition for life. Every living being is dependent on it. Fragile and threatening at the same time, it is by accepting our powerlessness in front of it that we could finally find the peace of being mortal in its bosom. Mistress of all life and death cycles, water is a resource that requires precious attention. 

 "Sous l'eau... Vollständigkeit" is a co-composition with my friend Joseph Böhm. I generate sound's material by filling my trombone with water. The range between noise and beatings is played through the variations of air pressure and amount of water used. The experimental sounds of water in the trombone are explored and processed with the computer. Different ways of playing, as well as the emptying of the trombone are part of the sound production. This sound is further processed with many digital methods until it finally reaches the ears of the audience.

Djibouti Classic Songs refers to the musical styles, techniques and sounds of Djibouti. The first major form of modern Djiboutian music began in the mid-1940s, when Djibouti was a part of the French Somaliland. Djiboutian music is characterized by poetry, so that listening to a Djiboutian song is first paying attention to its meaning. The artist rocks the listeners in the cheerfulness of the refrains and the turn of the sentences. Often sung by a couple, a song is played in the form of a sleight of hand between a man and a woman, one recounting his feelings and his love, even his passion for the other, until the other accepts or rejects this offer.

The Djiboutian song is also distinguished by the "Gouux", a deep and sensual voice which highlights the artist's passion for his work.
