This month's guest for the first half of the show is @MITAYO from snowy Sapporo, the city dubbed by many as the music capital of Japan. Orbiting around legendary club Precious Hall - famous for its no-frills lineups year-round and world-class sound system - and underground music temple Provo, MITAYO has carved himself a place as an exceptional selector, even by Sapporo's standards. His contribution to the series is as unique and eclectic as can be. It will remind those who know of MITAYO's own place Spice no Ana, a cosy restaurant with an excellent DJ setup, nested in the middle of the city. This is where he hosts "Datsuryoku Ongakukai", a party that can only be described as a listening session/house party with food, desserts, booze and a generous dose of Japanese New Year's vibes: quiet yet festive, still and joyful at the same time.
