Bio: "I, am CommonSen5e"

At the age of 16 [2012] years old Mason Metcalf AKA CommonSen5e or CS5 for short, took the reins of what would become not just a dream but a reality. [Quite quickly] As soon as the name chose him, his life would never be the same. With six studio albums, multiple singles, and a full length Co-op Album with the great Mario Grönnert, Mason is never at a end of creating. With now the seventh studio album launching in 2024/2025, CS5 stands with some of the greats to achieve such a goal in the music scene. With being underground and connected to all platforms, CS5's music is matched up to those of the likes of Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and Demi Lovato and moving quickly in all directions. A hit in the UK, Germany, and surprisingly the US, shows with the electronic group Modestep in 2019, only time will tell what brings young CS5. Even though CommonSen5e's music is nowhere near mainstream material, the mainstream has no choice but to listen to the birds that sit upon this stream.

Alex Maelstrom a French music producer was originally trained in classical music on the piano. He later on switched to Trance music where his main inspirations are Illenium, Moby, Lindsey Stirling and movie music composer Hans Zimmer. Fauxplay skyrocketed in to the dance music scene in 2022, claiming a position amongst the new breed of anointed underground electronic producers with his first EP, ‘Touch The Sky’ – a truly awe-inspiring debut (via Music To Die For records) which reached No.1 on the coveted Beatport Melodic House & Techno Release Charts and No.3 on the Global Release Chart. His second EP, 'Conjure', released in September 2023, also reached No.1 one in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Release Charts, and No.1 in the Progressive House Release charts, also garnering support from some of the biggest producers and DJs in the world, including Sasha, John Digweed, Eelke Kleijn, Gabriel Ananda, Marsh, 1979, Jamie Stevens, Aly & Fila , Nick Warren, Marcus James, Anthony Pappa, Gai Barone, Steve Parry, Guy Mantzur and many more..

 

2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Fauxplay - his 'Unchained EP' and subsequent 'Deus Breaks' mixes on various EPs have secured support amongst the Breaks community, and with his current EP 'Inhale' and the subsequent single releases (e.g. "Forget"), Fauxplay is also securing attention in the Deep House genre, with a major release planned in October called "Obsession" which is lined up to be his biggest release yet.... 

Fauxplay's sound oozes sophistication, blending together his audio engineering experience with a passion for quality, deep electronic vibes and an ear for hooks, and unencumbered by genre pigeon holes; working alongside some of the world’s best producers with diverse influences ranging from Talking Heads and Simple Minds to Larry Heard, Ron Trent, Derrick May and Four Tet. The journey for Fauxplay has just begun - stay tuned for more quality music!

Taking the longest break. I might not sure if I'll continue making music anymore. In these path few months, I haven't gotten better at it. I've become stressed out from lack of improvement and motivation. Maybe I'll post a song one day sooner or later, but I don't know. Big thanks for the people who listened to my Arcade remix. It's the first song that I made that has the most plays. That motivated me and inspired me to continue, but as I said earlier, lack of motivation, improvement, and ideas. That's all I'm going to say. Just know maybe I'll post again but I'm not sure and know that I'm grateful that you listened to my music. Good day! <3

I enjoy writing EDM/Trance/D&B/Electronic music. I have been writing music on and off for 20+ years. I am sure there will be people out there who enjoy listening. I would love to collaborate on tracks, so get in touch!
I have written music since I was a teenager, always electronic on the computer and always with a dance/techno theme.

Nowadays I do not sing (except in the shower), but my passion for writing dance tracks has not dwindled.
