Part 2 of @taladrumcorps love letter series to the Legend of Zelda games by Nintendo.
" I’ve always been fascinated by the sample usage, uncanny choral synths, bare rhythm tracks and playful melodies that are part of the ingenious Zelda OST's by Koji Kondo and his team.
Inspired by the original soundtracks I create new sonic narratives through collaging tracks from the original soundtracks and various artists including composers from the folk, dub, ambient & club scene. "

The alias of young Romanian producer Vlad Matei speaks of a spiritual bond with nature and of a longing toward a purity of form in the eclectic tastes that make up his sound. 
In his productions as well as DJ sets, the heady brew that defines his sound is a mix of new beat, dub, tribal house, Berlin School electronics, classic afro-cosmic spins and the leftfield take on 'balearic' that has gained ground in recent years.

A profusion of esoterica fueled, spiritism induced séances lulling you into suspended consciousness. 90’s infused atmospherics, voices from the (not so distant) past & everything else you might find barely bearable.
