Moaiact is the project from Luciano Cisternas (Psypsiq Jicuri) co-founder of Digital Yonkis and one of Chile’s most talented and original artists within the electronic music scene, and is not a new name in the psytrance scene with more than 10 years trajectory.

He explores psychedelic in a unique way, fulfilling his music with organic sounds, dynamic percussions and atmospheres. This established artist holds a wide discography including digital releases by important labels around the world.

Luciano has performed in countries like Germany, Brasil, Switzerland, Greece, Bolivia, Argentina and has played at big events like Universo Paralello, EarthDance, Traunfanger, Amazonas Andes, Dream Future, Monte Mapu and many more.

Andrea Lunghi AKA Dust has been releasing psychedelic trance music since 2008, always keeping on evolving and defining his cutting-edge, broad soundscape from night-time underground full-on tunes to daytime kick-ass dance floor stompers.

His tracks are imprinted with his easily recognizable touch and you can hear them pounding at most of the psy-trance events around the globe. Many releases followed Dust’s debut album “I don’t like psychedelics” on Looney Moon records in 2012, such as “My friends love psychedelics” in March 2013, “Explicit Content” in 2014 , “Hippie Blaster” in 2016 together with Lunatica, “Loonacy” in 2017 with Obliviant , “Wanamatcha” in 2017, “Thirteen” in 2022 and “Always on line “ with Peace-ka in 2024.

Aside from his solo project, Dust has a role in many collaboration projects: Loonacy (with Obliviant), Foam (with Assioma) and Dustinface (with Phase) and Assault Junkies with Peace-ka.

Getting their start in the early '80s, the Kilkenny Cats were one of the most fascinating bands at a time when there were a lot of fascinating bands around. Formed by the North Carolina born Tom Cheek, who had relocated to Athens, Georgia for college, the Kilkenny Cats played a dark and moody blend of post-punk and psychedelia that still, after all these years, feels decidedly timeless. Here's what I mean by that--sometimes when you listen to a band you can hear the years they existed. We won't name. names, but you know what I mean--however, when it comes to the Kilkenny Cats, their music was so singular, they elude the timeline. Although their fellow city dwelling comrades ranged from REM to Pylon to Love Tractor, they were their own thing. Alive with jangling guitars, prowling basslines, foreboding drums and sonorous vocals, the Kilkenny Cats' music was awash in mystery and maybe that's why all these years later, they still sound as pressingly relevant as ever. They were a beloved live act, they had a deal with Twin/Tone, played shows with REM and Husker Du and then? Well, then decades of silence. Why? Well, that's what we're here to figure out and Tom Cheek walks us through it all. Spoiler alert: The 'Cats are back and more music in addition to the wonderful expanded reissue of 1988's Hammer + Echo, will be coming. I'll let him explain.
