Before PSYQUI:

Participated in bands: Okuno, BabyNoise, etc.

Worked at HARTS music studio.

Composed music under the names Mr. Bon and FM Radio.


PSYQUI Project:

Planned since 2011.

Officially started in 2016, winning kz's award with Still Lonesome in the BEMANI NEW FACE Contest.

His music focuses on energy and liveliness, not necessarily tied to emotions or lyrics.

Experiments with various genres.

Builds music from chord foundations, combining different elements for a unique sound.

His thoughts on making music alone:

Dissatisfied with the quality of his own music and feels lonely working solo.

Lack of live drums makes it less exciting, but recording and mic adjustments are too complicated, so he doesn’t do them.

Perfectionist about sound quality.

Values interaction and companionship in music, which is why he doesn’t opt for a one-man band format.

Accident Diary (2011):



PSYQUI had an accident while riding at 75 km/h.

While taking a turn and slowing down, he leaned right but encountered a gravel-covered road.

Lost control and was thrown off his bike.


Injuries sustained:

Scrapes (擦過傷), bruises (打撲傷).

Dislocated jaw (顎の関節の脱臼).

5–6 chipped/broken teeth (歯が5～6本欠け).

Lacerations on eyelid and lips (目蓋と口に裂傷).

Three stitches on his mouth (口を３針縫う).
