There are not many things that can give you that warm and overexciting feeling as if you had to much black tea: a good song, a renewed friendship and .. well... to much black tea.
And here we have all three of them.
An On Bast and Douglas Greed met over ten years ago on the other side of the world and always wanted to join forces. But upon till now they failed.
Not in way that would suggest a big story filled with tragedy behind it.
It was rather a string of missed chances and unexpectedly fast passing years.
But now we got two tracks that couldn’t be more different.
„I ́m right outside if you need me“ is sweet as baclava and as sad as the Friday news at the same time.
While „Night Time“ is a nice little rolling monster, haunting you on the dance floor - if you let it.

We hope you enjoy this track as much as we do.

"Making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of Madloch and Subnode's 'Pattern Lock' is Yarni. Based in Sheffield, the British artist has carved out a unique place in the electronic underground. With a sound that marries live percussion and catchy melodies with the darker elements of dub techno, Yarni has earned the praise of Mind Against, Throwing Snow, Riva Starrr and Richie Hawtin, while landing releases on some of the world's freshest record labels, most notably Nie Wieder Schlafen and Seven Villas. Now making his Sound Avenue debut, Yarni's masterstroke is to collaborate with sax player Jonoa for a soulful rendition of 'Pattern Lock'. Rhythmically enticing from the outset, a bed of broken beats and chunky bass stabs sets the foundation for a storyboard of tasteful chord stabs and smoky sax riffs. Wavy and whimsical in all the right ways, Jonoa's riffs resonate across the first act, blended perfectly against a backdrop of dimly lit atmospheres and sweeping effects. Furthering its textural appeal is an intoxicating break, building tension through a rising blend of hazy harmonics and drony sax fragments, before pulling back as the beats for a finale that is equal parts musical and groovy.
