Tiny T brings something different from their usual style with Do It Like This.  This track carries a lot more aggression, a riff filled ride and the energy you would usually find reserved to a Freeform track. The break on this track is sublime, we are not going to spoil it, just listen.  Tiny T exceeds expectations again. It's another 10/10.

Mashed using Dougal, Gammer, & Mickey Skeedale's "Through The Darkness" and Technikore's remix of Dougal & Gammer's "Guitar Hero".

This is not an original idea, I just couldn't find a good full length version anywhere that wasn't mastered badly, and I don't know if a real full length version exists to the public, so I decided to make my own. (Not that the mastering is perfect on mine, but it's better than the other versions I could find.) I also arranged it a bit better and took out the empty parts of Through The Darkness.

I'm not sure who originally came up with this mash-up idea. I've heard it was DJ Ravine, but I personally heard it for the first time in Gammer's "The Gammer Mix" set on his soundcloud page.

I like to tell stories, so I'm going to tell the story of this EP. It's guaranteed to be long winded and a lot to read, so read it if you feel like it, and I won't be offended if you don't! It all started with me hearing "Guitar Hero (Technikore's 'Darkness' Remix)" in Gammer's "The Gammer Mix". I thought it was a really cool and neat idea, but didn't really give it much more thought after listening to it a few times. Then one day, while mixing around, I was mixing with the original mix of Guitar Hero and Anybody Else But You, and for some reason or another, let them both play out. After a short while, I noticed "Hey! These sound really good over each other!". So I grabbed the Technikore remix of Guitar Hero and ended up assembling them into one full-length track. I didn't put it up for download anywhere, but played it out at a few shows. Not too long after that, I got to thinking about the fact that I'd never seen a clean download of the Through The Darkness version I had heard originally, so I figured why not make my own! I grabbed Through The Darkness and assembled it and Guitar Hero into another full-length track, which I uploaded onto my soundcloud as a free download. Not long after this, Japanese hardcore powerhouse Kors K released a free download bootleg remix of Guitar Hero, which got me thinking "Hmm. Maybe I should try mashing THIS version up with Through The Darkness", so I did just that. The thought of "Ok, you've made an alternate version of Through The Darkness, so you should probably make one of Anybody Else But You too" was in my head for a few months, and finally I broke down and did it. After making 4 full-length tracks, I figured I was done with this Guitar Hero mash up business. I was wrong. Having listened to Guitar Hero so many times in the process of assembling the tracks and checking the results, I got to the point where I could recognize the melody and bassline pretty much anywhere. And lo and behold, while mixing around one day, I picked out the bassline somewhere I did not expect it to be: in Chris Ross's remix of Safe & Sound. So one more time, I went back to the mashing grindstone! And finally, at hitting 300 likes on Facebook, I'm ready to release this silly collection of songs! These tracks are all full length, DJ-friendly tracks, and all offer something different in track layout, arrangement, and runtime. 

01. Guitar Hero (Technikore) x Anybody Else But You (Bad Corey Mash Up)
-Assembled January 20th 2012. First played out at Anime Milwaukee 2012. 
-This is the first and shortest of the bunch, clocking in at 4:39. There's a funny back story behind this one: Apparently, unbeknownst to me, DJ Shimamura had already figured out this mash up and used it in a mix he put out in mid 2010. I didn't discover this fact until mid to late 2012, well after I made my version. I also must assure you that I came upon this idea through my own workings, and did not bite the idea from Shimamura; we simply came to the same conclusion completely unaware of each other, just a year or so apart.

02. Guitar Hero (Technikore) x Through The Darkness (Bad Corey Mash Up)
-Assembled February 16th 2012. First played out at Evillecon 2012 
-The original idea that started it all. If I'm not mistaken, credit for the original use of this idea belongs to DJ Ravine. The 2nd longest of the bunch, only by 3 seconds, at 5:46. I never found a version anywhere online that sounded good and clean, so I made my own. This is the only one that I released for download before this EP, and is still on my soundcloud if you feel you need an extra copy. :P

03. Guitar Hero (Kors K) x Through The Darkness (Bad Corey Mash Up)
-Assembled February 23rd 2012. First played on the Allkore Riot Show July 11th 2012 episode.
-The middle length of the 5, clocking in at 5:43, just barely shorter than the Technikore version. I have never played this version live, only in a recorded mix for the Allkore Riot Show.

04. Guitar Hero (Kors K) x Anybody Else But You (Bad Corey Mash Up)
-Assembled October 17th 2012. This one has never been played or heard anywhere before this EP! 
-This is the longest of them all, at 6:07. I almost never made this version, but 8 months after making the other Kors K version, I finally broke down and put it together. I've also managed to keep it private, which is not usually the case, considering I usually get very excited to show people things I've made. :P

05. Safe & Sound x Guitar Hero (Bad Corey Mash Up)
-Assembled 12/26/2012. First played live for my Polka Dot's Belated Birthday Mix video on YouTube.
-BONUS TRACK!!! My own original idea, and definitely the most unique of the bunch, this one differs from the other 4 in that I used Safe & Sound as the base track and Guitar Hero as the accent track, where as all the rest use Guitar Hero as the base. Clocks in right in at 2nd shortest, at 5:31.
