Did Daft Punk and the eighties just have a perfect love child? 'Runnin around' is like a warm bath, a familar yet refreshing mix between Nu Disco and guilty pleasure throwback pop. Zak Waters' voice reminds of a soulful version of Fun's Nate Ruess and completely draws us in. Plus, according to his lyrics, he is totally crushing on us! I always consider Sheffield to be like a second home to me. It's the city which allowed me to push boundaries, test the waters and gave me the opportunity to develop in all areas, be it djing, producing and promoting. I always receive a warm welcome and that indescribable positive feeling makes me smile whenever I'm there. The crowd is open, passionate and above all else demand more from me :). 

OTR is a brand which I have seen grow from strength to strength and it was a pleasure to have been asked to support their seventh birthday. It was also a huge responsibility for me as it would be the first time that I was properly showcasing my RΞBOOTΞD sound in the city where all the Trance magic first happened!!! I knew that I had to pull out all the stops and make my set that every bit special because enthusiasm and knowledge come with the territory. No pressure Scott!!! As I entered the booth, I could see people eagerly waiting in anticipation to hear the select choices that I could bring to the dancefloor. I paused, took a deep breath and let the music guide me. What you will hear from my mix  is  a taste of the future and of course, some well-deserved signature tunes that have contributed to my style over the years.

“People Are A Concept” comes next on this EP, and FFERD TOBING continues to forge the
high energy trance synths, laden with excitement, and this uplifted emotion persists
its way through the release. The climax is a wild and euphoric ride, leaving you all

FFERD TOBING’s last, but not first, in the EP’s order is “What If.” Previously released
on our Elemental Progressions Volume 3 compilation. Supported by Myon & Shane 54. A track
that may evoke sensations of spiraling feelings, and torrents of enlightenment. A massive
mixture of bittersweet, transcendance, hope, and determination. It’s perfect place rests
where it should fall in this EP, and FFERD TOBING has done a great job of creating his
story here.
