In the prime of his 20’s Chris Bakir is an up and coming multi-talented, music artist in the Midwest who engineers his own music, records, and artistically promotes himself through graphic art, using his creative talents. Chris is from Chicago, Illinois Born to Michele Martin and Chris Martin on February 5, 1992, at age 15 Chris materialized his passion for music through the style of RnB/Hip-hop inspired by artist like Ludacris and Usher. He started playing piano, the drums, and the guitar in church at a young age, which fueled his desire for music and gave him a strong foundation in God. As illustrated in his name Bakir (Bak-eer) which, in Hebrew means the chosen one. I grew up around music. My father was a musician and recorded in the studio locally as well as on stage at bars, weddings and some of his bands had shirts they sold. Sadly, he did not pursue fame and fortune. But I love to sing and was once signed to a local record label here back in 2002. PR fell through and I lost my management due to domestic situations and left to San Antonio to make it on my own in 2003. I have had several editors choice awards and have written a book, which at this time is not published but will be. Without the proper management I lost everything. Now I love to share other artists via networking online because their trying gives me hope that I might be able to do something more than just be an assistant for a training director.
