Good old aunt Frieda likes it colorful, that’s pretty known in all parts of
the world since the birth of Frieda Musik.  And even our new children of the
family are the same kind of colorful: Frivolous is painting in all different
colors without wasting any paint. His two originals are pushing with
forward-thinking rhythms without forgetting how to get his audience into
dreaming through his golden voice and his playful melodies. A very special
Schmankerl is his Lullaby. A little more precise and determined comes Dirty
Doering and Sascha Cawa’s Upside Down Remix of  “For The Message” within
this package. And not to forget there’s a Digital Bonus by our boys San
Marco & Don Ramon, who tell us: Don’t Stop Mumble, if you wanna get this
kind of (Zurich)-Groove.
In our opinion: A perfect EP for endless summer nights.

Frivolous - For The Message Dirty Doering & Sascha Cawa Upside Down Remix 192kbps

For all the black gold lovers, Baile Musik proudly presents very first vinyl series that will be in stores in summer 2014. This massive V.A. features four tracks by Fresh Juice members Crocodile Soup, Jessica Diaz and Monika Ross including a guest appearance by the Dutch beauty Lilith.
While Jessica Diaz and Crocodile Soup represent their dark side with some heavy bass, Lilith ́s track builds a bridge to Monika Ross, showing the opposite with a very jazzy tune for the happy situations in life. Crocodile ́s „L ́homme mystere“ is all about the grooving bassline that steps through rainy territory in an atmosphere of an Italian gangster movie that finds its climax in a mysterious phone call.
Miss Diaz ́s „Tres“ keeps on that flavor charged with some typical dub sounds and vocal whispers here and there that keep the experience going on. If you listen close you will hear all the little noisy details snap- ping in your eardrums from all directions. While those two are four to the floor groove based tracks, Lilith and her „mani Padme“ comes along with some super cool drums paired with a sad mood in an experimental ambience of arabic voices and chants; a pure masterpiece if you like endless rhythm within a story of love and faith.
„Madame Magic“, produced by Fresh Juice member Monika Ross, completes this release with its tech-house beat enriched with melodic parts that make you feel like you are sitting in a jazz-café. You can hear the people talking in the atmosphere while the groove carries you through the story in a very smooth manner.
All in all this vinyl is a great and round package packed with quality music for the early and later hours. It will definitely make people move on the floor with nothing but groovy minimal and tech-house.

After two solid EPs out on Exploited Ghetto last year, Florence-native Mennie is back with ‘Reels Rebel’. The EP consists of two tidy house cuts, and for you today we present the first track on the release, ‘Reels Rebel’. 

Mennie’s approach to producing the music involved a classic aesthetic, drawing upon vintage machines to build up his grooves. From the track structure to the way samples have been worked, you most certainly get this classic tech-house feel. There’s this vintage sheen to ‘Reels Rebel’ that reeks of class, achieved through a most capable handling of percussion and an addictive riff on the loop. A rare breath of quality in a sea of generic four-to-the-floor.

The flames still burn white hot on Friedas Musik's first record. This seems
to be no reason not to throw more explosives on top. With the "Elephant
Carousel EP" one of the both label makers Don Ramon inspires a dance
carousel that makes even the most peaceful pachyderms on Friedas soil
rotate. All four tracks are infectious to body and soul. Each for itself an
original. All four tracks extensively tested on the party crowd by aunt
Friedas nephew. Rather in a club night or at a funny after hour- hands were
in the air and the corner of the mouths were rising high. A very special
delight for the friends of the upper class reduction surely is the Argenis
Britos Remix of the track Wild Goats. All in all definitely an EP that
stretches the trunk in the sky!
