I'm Into You - (Live At WNYC's Soundcheck 19-11-13, NYC)

KRAKE is an annual Berlin based festival for challenging electronic music. Krake means „octo- pus“ and the festival is organised in a comparable way: reaching out to selected locations during one week presenting the best in electronic music whatever style it is. The festival is not huge, not expensive, does not have big sponsoring deals or four different colour are passes. It’s just a good and so far successful try to bring back the focus on artists who dare to step off the beaten tracks. 
KRAKE 002 contains mostly exclusive tracks of artists who played at the Krake festival in 2013. The A-side starts with a dark ambient drone by DÄMMERN, followed by a pop-fueled two-step hit by PHON.O. Next in line is Irishman EOMAC with a warm and deep IDM track already char- ted by none less than Thom Yorke of Radiohead, followed by „Resolution“, a little melancholic stepper by BILL YOUNGMAN. 
The B-side is being opened with a techno track by grandmaster MONOLAKE in his most typical dubby percussive style. For the next track FRANK BRETSCHNEIDER reduces the sounds to the max again to deliver a percussive track as minimalistic as can be. Legendary techno producer CRISTIAN VOGEL, known for his constant search for new values, closes the compilation with an avantgarde piece of noise and drones.

British born International Singer-Songwriter-DJ-Producer, Zoey Jones has made quite a
name for herself in the world of Electronic Dance Music with her grooving live mixing
skills, sun-drenched style productions and sensual, smooth vocals.

Zoey Jones started her career writing and top lining with famous DJs and producers
resulting in tours nationally and globally for events such as Kiss & MTV.

Zoey started working with Portuguese DJ & producer, Rui Da Silva. They worked on a
number of projects inc her bossa nova album “Songs From The Naughties” which her
rendition of Rui’s hit song “Touch Me” got licensed to Cafe Del Mars album Vol 26.
Zoey moved to Asia in 2010 and took residencies singing and DJing at famous rooftop
bars, beach clubs and 5 star hotels and performed at festivals and events inc, Aqua,
Zuma, MTV, Rock In Rio, Woo Bar, Armani Prive, Art Basel, F1 Singapore, Chanel, Ritz
to name a few.

During the pandemic, Zoey was locked down in Bali where she spent her time being
inspired by the luscious scenery and beaches, the perfect location to focus on creative
work. During this time, Zoey focused on songwriting and her music production skills,
Zoey then launched her own record label in 2020 named ‘ Love Struck Records’ which
specialises in releasing music in genre of deep, electronic and organic house.

Zoey has many digital releases on Spotify and online platforms. Her latest release
being “Be With Me (Sunrise Mix)”.
Zoey mixes the best in Organic, Deep, Funky and Disco House.

April’s edition comes from Will C.

Will C is a London based Organic & Progressive House DJ, playing eclectic sets influenced by underground sounds and global beats. Will’s passion for music was forged in the vibrant 00s Leeds club scene, where he followed iconic DJs like Sasha, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, 
Laurent Garnier, and Danny Tenaglia to legendary club nights across the UK.

With a foundation in classical music, Will transitioned from vinyl to digital DJing, after starting with progressive house in the early 00s. Today, he specialises in underground Organic House, drawing from labels like Lost Miracle, Shanti Radio, Lost & Found, All Day I Dream, and Anjunadeep. His dark, twisted sets are a sonic journey through oceans, mountains, and deserts, blending old, new, and classic tracks into a compelling experience. 

In 2024, Will launched ORGANICA at Folklore, Hoxton - a night dedicated to showcasing Organic House music with talented DJs and producers from across the UK. The event aims to become a cornerstone of London’s Organic House scene, with plans to expand to larger venues and international locations.

The new album from Astral Sense called Sound Temple is here on Power House Records. Expect more fat and killer sound adventures, because this is deep prog-psytrance from Serbia. Astral Sense is Milan Rakic, also known as Sideefected and Elgiva, his project with Ascent. Each song is made to move your spirits and feet with moments of ecstatic happiness as well as deep introspective observations. From the small town of Krusevac, Milan has been listening to electronic music since a young age but he could never resist the uplifting space melodies and fast tempos of Psychedelic Goa trance. Under the influence of psy and goa he began dj-ing and producing, quickly finding full support in the Serbian Psy scene. His debut release came out on Geomagnetic Records with the track written with his friend Ascent called Teardrops leading the two friends to found their Psytrance project called Elgiva, who’ve released an EP and a full-length album on Ovnimoon Records. Astral Sense burst onto the worldwide stage of the Progressive trance scene with his debut Astral Sense album Endless Journey in 2014 on Power House Records.
