Known for his impact both in the current underground dance landscape and the 80’s electro scene, @GregWilson is a timeless producer that will bring his legendary sphere of influence to Further Future this year. 

The revered musician began his DJ career over 40 years ago and has continued to eat, sleep, and breathe dance music, eventually helping pioneer a post-disco sound out of New York that he dubbed “Electro-Funk.” 

Beyond performing, Wilson has also found a second love in writing about club culture and new music on his site Being A DJ. You can get a taste of the Greg Wilson sound with an exclusive recording of his set at the The Attik in Warrington last July, which is now being released for the first time.

Steve Cobby has been in the trenches of the UK electronic music since the late Eighties. Touring the world with his Fila Brazilia collective and much loved Pork Recordings stable, Steve has been a man of many pseudonyms and collaborations. In 2014 Steve chose to concentrate on solo work which has so far yielded three fine albums, the most recent of which last year's 'Hemidemisemiquaver' rightly found itself at the top of many 2017 best of lists. Here he turns in a super cool mix touching on dub, funk, disco and tracks featured from the new album. Based in Brighton UK, Fingerman (AKA Gregg Holmes), has been spinning tunes since the mid-nineties jumping from multiple genres in his time. Originally a techno and house head, Fingerman caught the disco bug in the mid 2000’s whilst holding a vinyl only residency at Brighton long-running night club Casablanas. He then began to research the sample material from his favourite house records and, like a kind of domino effect, began following editors and producers such as Greg Wilson, Todd Terje and Dimitri From Paris. He began making his own re-edits of his favourite disco records in order to beatmatch them for club use soon after.

His extensive Soundcloud profile caught the ears of many big Dj’s on the scene such as Greg Wilson (Greg actually release 2 of Fingerman’s Reworks on his own A&R Edits Vinyl only label “Never Survive” and “Fool”), Late Nite Tuff Guy, Rayko, Dimitri From Paris, Dicky Trisco, Disco Tech and Pablo Contraband.

The past two years have seen many releases on a variety of top Disco labels such as Midnight Riot, Get Down Edits, Discodat and Chopshop many of which have received high praise and number one positions at Juno Records and Juno Download.

He has also recently branched out opening his own label Hot Digits Music, a Brighton based label that focuses on up & coming producers and well established disco stalwarts alike with the first few releases featuring work from Fingerman himself, Austrailian trailblazer DR Packer, Detroit funky man Pontchartrain and P-Funk rump shaker Tonbe.

A highly skilled Dj, Fingerman has now taken his disco sound worldwide this past year will gigs in Jakarta in Indonesia, Brussels and more close to home London, Ireland, Glasgow and Manchester playing alongside awesome Dj’s from the likes of Late Nite Tuff Guy, Mr Mendel and Greg Wilson.
