Cover of an old Kinks song my friend Craig and I did a demo job on. Love it, or hate it, we don't care. We didn't ask for your opinion. Craig's a good drummer, though. I'm a writer, not a singer, but it always seems I have to 😁👍💯 We went Punk Rock on it.

And they go somewhere that way.

This piece was written specially for the second edition of the "Omnibus Laboratorium" in Tashkent in August 2006. The piece was inspired by Georg Heym's Berlin I:

Beteerte Fässer rollten von den Schwellen 
Der dunklen Speicher auf die hohen Kähne. 
Die Schlepper zogen an. Des Rauches Mähne 
Hing rußig nieder auf die öligen Wellen. 

Zwei Dampfer kamen mit Musikkapellen. 
Den Schornstein kappten sie am Brückenbogen. 
Rauch, Ruß, Gestank lag auf den schmutzigen Wogen 
Der Gerbereien mit den braunen Fellen. 

In allen Brücken, drunter uns die Zille 
Hindurchgebracht, ertönten die Signale 
Gleichwie in Trommeln wachsend in der Stille. 

Wir ließen los und trieben im Kanale 
An Gärten langsam hin. In dem Idylle 
Sahn wir der Riesenschlote Nachtfanale.

All Saint's Day

A bubbling, sharp ambient track with thin swelling pads, aquatic sound effects and calming gong-like sounds. Occasional bubbly arpeggios create some extra movement and underline the nautical theme. Its reduced harmony gives it a sombre, almost neutral feel.

Submerged Entity

Chris Drabble, based in the Northwest of England, is a rock guitarist who has over 50 years of playing experience.
With nearly 50K streams on SoundCloud in the last 12 months being a mixture of Guitar Rock and softer Ambient instrumental tracks, Chris is now ramping up his rock guitar work with his latest album ‘Foot to the Floor’, which harks back to his youth when rock guitar tracks had a catchy opening riff, and was the sort exciting music you felt you had to tap your foot to. 
His influences include Rush, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani and Jimi Hendrix. He is currently listening to Porcupine Tree, Dream Theatre.
