Dream Catcher

A song about seeing a beautiful girl dancing in a old 60s film of a music group playing in a studio and wondering what happened to her and if she found love.

In a flickering black and white video,

I saw a beautiful girl, dancing there,
In a crowded TV room, full of dreams and despair.
She twirled to the rhythm of a love song sweet,
A lost face  of the '60s, in her vintage dress,
The band played on, lost in their beat,
While the room spun around, she was no longer on her feet.

Chris Drabble, based in the Northwest of England, is a rock guitarist who has over 50 years of playing experience.
With nearly 50K streams on SoundCloud in the last 12 months being a mixture of Guitar Rock and softer Ambient instrumental tracks, Chris is now ramping up his rock guitar work with his latest album ‘Foot to the Floor’, which harks back to his youth when rock guitar tracks had a catchy opening riff, and was the sort exciting music you felt you had to tap your foot to. 
His influences include Rush, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani and Jimi Hendrix. He is currently listening to Porcupine Tree, Dream Theatre.
