The year is coming to an end. It's time not only to look back, but especially now to address your personal wishes, goals, affirmations and manifestations for 2024. Like a year-end letter to the "Above Heaven" team. 
To reinforce this, we give you some musical help with this minimalist, neo-classical, new age piano piece. Take some affirmation time for yourself! Take this piano song from us as a "soundtrack" for your own personal "Affirmation Journey" for the coming year. As an amplifier for YOUR affirmations.

This piece is also our "roll credits" song for the current year. A musical end to 2023 - but at the same time an invitation and bridge to 2024. "The Affirmation Journey" will be the last track on the new 2024 album "Resolutions & Revolutions". 
We are already looking forward to sharing this new album and all the new songs with you in 2024!

This track was an attempt to write some melodic/smooth house after being inspired by a couple of dj sets of melodic house (check out @arnie_nrw if you are interested).  This version is an 'Extended Mix' that I hope will be favorable to someone wanting to use in a Live Mix set *(DM me and I can provide you with the download link per request).

The darkness has a sound. "Biohazard Sound Chronicles" is a fanmade original soundtrack by nezuki_chan, reimagining the essence of Resident Evil through haunting, cinematic soundscapes. Each piece is inspired by iconic Resident Evil–like locations and scenarios, turning them into tense and immersive soundscapes:

Save Rooms – melancholic piano themes and soft drones, fragile moments of safety in a hostile world.

Underground Corridor – metallic echoes, dripping water, the sound of footsteps swallowed by endless tunnels.

Hidden Forest – distorted natural ambience, ominous strings, fog and dread between the trees.

Abandoned Train Tunnel – screeching rails, reverberating iron, claustrophobic horror in the dark.

R.P.D Police Department – Corridor – ominous pulses, flickering lamps, the iconic emptiness of a haunted police station.

Abandoned Hospital – sterile emptiness, rhythmic dripping, mechanical hums, and cold, echoing piano notes.

Raccoon City: Quarantine (Boss Theme I) – aggressive percussion, distorted strings, pounding bass for a desperate battle.

Underground Tunnels (Boss Theme II) – heavy industrial rhythms, chaotic synths, relentless tension.

The Graveyard – fog, choirs, distant bells, a requiem of unease and forgotten souls.

Underground Laboratory – pure sci-fi horror: synthetic pulses, machine distortions, resonant drones.

Underwater Research Facilities – muffled, pressurized tones, distorted ambience evoking the crushing depths.

Air Plane – Last Boss Theme – fast-paced orchestration, thunderous percussion, the sound of final despair.

Credits (Alone) - an emotional female vocal, telling the story of some places in the game and what all been seen.

This album is not a copy, but a reinterpretation of the Resident Evil atmosphere. Each track feels like a missing piece of survival horror history — from the flickering comfort of the Save Rooms to the apocalyptic intensity of the last boss fight. With "Biohazard Sound Chronicles", nezuki_chan combines the series’ iconic sound identity with a unique personal style, crafting something authentic yet original.

Resident Evil - Hidden Forest | Instrumental Fan Music

Chris Drabble, based in the Northwest of England, is a rock guitarist who has over 50 years of playing experience.
With nearly 50K streams on SoundCloud in the last 12 months being a mixture of Guitar Rock and softer Ambient instrumental tracks, Chris is now ramping up his rock guitar work with his latest album ‘Foot to the Floor’, which harks back to his youth when rock guitar tracks had a catchy opening riff, and was the sort exciting music you felt you had to tap your foot to. 
His influences include Rush, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani and Jimi Hendrix. He is currently listening to Porcupine Tree, Dream Theatre.
