BEATSWORKIN: AKA JAMIE BAWN & CHRIS EATON - Deep House, Tech House and Techno DJ's and producers from Sussex have been smashing dance floors and playing some of the best underground tunes you will here. BEATSWORKIN had secured a monthly residency at Brighton's amazing OM and then later at H Bar as well as putting on nights at The Volks, The Haunt and Concorde 2 in Brighton. Every Party they have had at these venues has been fantastic with quality sets from themselves and their guest djs. 

Monthly guests have included:  Nick Curly, Mr.C, A Guy Called Gerald, Swayzak, Terry Francis, Alex Celler, Burnski, Glimpse, Inland Knights, Giom, Reset Robot, Jon Marsh (Beloved/Fabric), Saytek (live), Jon Gurd, Colin Dale, Eddie Richards (Wiggle), Pure Science (live), Rob Pearson (Evasive), Raymundo Rodriguez (Jaded), Jay West (Candy Music), Dominique Danielle (UnknownFM/The Egg), Tony Nunn (Freaky Disco), Dave Mothersole & Grant Dell The latter dj playing at their first all ticket event at Brighton's Volks in July 2010. 

The nights at H Bar, OM, and Volks have been so successful as they have combined with some great local talented djs who have played around sussex as well as having special international guest djs. Unlike other nights they haven't stuck to booking the same local djs month in month out as there are so many great djs across the south-coast and London, that they give the International Headline djs a run for their money!

Beatsworkin have been producing for over a year now too and have tracks released on Masterplan Recordings and are soon releasing tunes on other labels as well as their own new label with Ian Knight called Two Forks! Their last 2 tracks: Behind and Orange Peel have been their strongest so far and have had good feedback from djs such as Alex Celler and Saytek.   Their new track 'Zakopane' is being released on Two Forks in May with a remix by SAYTEK!

Mixing up elegant, post-digital House, Techno and Dub Techno like a mothafucker... Former spin doctor - now a journo, radio presenter & sync-button soldier of ill repute...  

Supagroove Summary:

Since moving to Barcelona 16 years ago, Mark J (aka Supagroove) has worked with many of Spain's coolest electronic music brands such as Blanco y Negro Records (A&R projects with Vendetta Records), Loca FM (Broadcaster) & Pacha Group, DJing regularly at the first ever Pacha in the world in Sitges for 5 years.

As a ‘muso’ hack, Mark is currently the nightlife editor of Barcelona Connect Magazine and writes high profile features for leading publications like Decoded Magazine, the Sun newspaper, or whoever else pays real money. Recent victims from memory include Jean-Michel Jarre, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Funk D'Void, Vitalic and emerging talent like Charlotte de Witte, Coyu or Mark Reeve among many, many others.

From 2003 until 2009, he also put in a few hours representing or managing artists like vocalist Kaysee (projects with Subliminal Records, Hed Kandi & Pacha Recordings), Lenny Fontana (Studio 54 & Defected Records) & Andrew Galea from The Freestylers. From this, he gained extensive music industry experience, especially in broadcast journalism, digital rights management and music publishing.
