Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Now turning 40, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient music in the comfort of his own living room, but sometimes still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the hypnotic world of house, techno and minimal. When he is not fumbling about on the decks, he likes to travel. He tries to play with the possibility of combining electronica and leftfield soundscapes, in a podcast friendly way, catering to your everyday soundtrack needs.

THE BELLS / PURPOSE MAKER / JEFF MILLS / AXIS - Jeff Mills flagship track from Kat Moda was one of the finest techno releases of the 1990's.  It's pretty much Holy Grail.  So first things first, I've been spending most of my free time making music.  Sometimes I get lucky.  In fact if this version didn't excell while I was creating it, I would have simply walked away and left it alone.  But it began to sound really good & punchy.  I started feeling like Jeff would really enjoy it.  

I mean "Let No Man Put Asunder" is one of the most sampled vocals of all time.  But the placement of the words in this one, I heard it in an old 2011 track by Butch, and knew it would accent The Bells well.  It's really subjective but I will leave it up to you.   Enjoy.
