the real C-jilla also known as C-jillinois residing from Elgin Il. He has been rapping since the age of nine influenced by his older siblings. He later adopted his own style of versatility and nice punch lines and excitement. in his early teens he and his friends formed the group Lyrical assassins. This group lasted for 3 years with members changing. After going for years of struggling with family, group issues, just life in general, he decided to go his own way and take his music and his career  into his own hands. Now he is 29 and on the top of his game. Since then the rapper has started a business with his a collective of his childhood friends and called it Protential Media Group. Ill-quote is a midwest based rapper from Illinois also a member of the rap super-group Rap Bastards.

With an intricate vernacular and consistent flow, Ill-Quote is one of the most versatile up and coming emcees from the midwest. Every verse he spits tells a story with substance, and there is a clear concept behind all his music. He can be heard on The Rap Bastards' first mixtape "Revenge of the MCs". He is currently working on his freshman mixtape "Bloodletters", slated to drop in the summer of 2015.
