Tokyo's Yunosuke Senoo aka Lycoriscoris presents ‘Flight’, his first album released via acclaimed UK label Anjunadeep. In recent years Lycoriscoris has developed a reputation as one of Japan’s most exciting young producers, releasing two albums on local indie label Moph Records and performing live alongside acts like The Field and Mortiz Von Oswald at Tokyo’s legendary Dommune.

With influences ranging from the dreamy soundscapes of Boards Of Canada, to the jazzy glitch of Shigeto, Senoo's subtle fusion of organic melodies and futuristic electronic production has won support from the likes of DJ Koze and Michael Mayer, who released his ’Transient EP' on Kompakt sub-label KX in 2015. Senoo made his debut on Anjunadeep in 2016, contributing a track to the iTunes #1 Dance Album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, before following up with the 6-track 'Drop EP' in 2017 which has since notched up 1 million streams.

Over its 8 tracks, ‘Flight’ sees Lycoriscoris explore the full range of his emotional melodic sound. From the intricate textures of ‘Kite’ and orchestral groove of lead single ‘Flight’, to the haunting ambience of ‘Far’ and dramatic crescendo of ‘Stella’, Senoo weaves together a spellbinding tapestry of detailed soundscapes and lush electronica. Senoo also provides imagery for his cinematic sounds, with the album artwork and music video for ‘Flight’ comprised of imagery shot by the artist himself in his native Japan.

‘Flight’ is the latest in a string of notable artist albums released on leading electronic label Anjunadeep, following on from Moon Boots’ debut LP ‘First Landing’ which topped the KCRW album chart and picked up over 50 BBC Radio plays, Cubicolor’s ‘Brainsugar’ which has amassed 32 million streams, and ‘Tuesday Maybe’, the sixth album from legendary duo Way Out West which topped the UK Dance Album chart.

‘Flight’ is set for release digitally and on vinyl on Friday 25th May 2018 via Anjunadeep.

The latest act to emerge on Anjunadeep, LA duo Leaving Laurel bring their delicate touch to Anjunabeats, with a fresh rework of Andrew Bayer and Alison May’s ‘Open End Resource’. 
One of the first tracks the duo worked on under the Leaving Laurel moniker, their introspective remix is reminiscent of acts such as Boards of Canada, Tycho and Kiasmos, combining subtle atmospherics with refined electronica rhythms.

“We became big fans of Andrew Bayer’s music back in 2011 with his Distractions EP and as a result discovered that it was on a label called Anjunadeep…there’s something particularly special about our first remix as Leaving Laurel being an Andrew Bayer song. We really enjoyed the original version of “Open End Resource” and had so many ideas to reimagine the song using just the vocals. A lot of what you hear on our remix is the result of our experimenting with recording guitars and live drums to cassette tape - we had no idea it would all make it to the final cut. After a whirlwind 2019, which saw Eric Luttrell release his acclaimed debut solo album ‘Into Clouds’ on Anjunadeep, the prolific San Francisco native makes a swift return to the UK imprint with his second LP ‘Lucky Ones’. Kicking off this spring, Eric embarks on his most extensive headline tour to date, with 23 North American shows revealed so far, which includes a performance at the iconic Coachella festival, with more to be announced.
 
First breaking into electronic music as part of the OWSLA-affiliated trio The M Machine, Eric launched his solo project in 2016 with the widely supported ‘Need You’ EP, while Anjunadeep catalog favorites ‘Generate’ EP and Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ followed in quick succession. Now with his highly-praised debut album under his belt, which reached #2 on iTunes Dance Album charts in USA and Canada and #8 in the Official UK Dance Album Charts, Luttrell’s unique brand of quirky melodic house and techno has cemented his name as one of the scenes most hotly tipped talents; opening doors to working with Moby, Tycho, Jai Wolf, and Blossoms all of whom commissioned remixes from Eric.
 
Whereas ‘Into Clouds’ examined the transitional periods of life, and was reflective of Eric’s mindset at the time of recording, ‘Lucky Ones’ is a celebration. Anchored in themes of gratitude, the LP is a collection of 11 meticulously crafted cuts which see him draw from a deep pool of personal influences, including the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and The Prodigy, his love for San Francisco and Burning Man, time spent as a student in Berlin, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro,  and even winning the US TV game show, The Price Is Right.
