So this was going to be a nineties throwback petshop boys style piece. I could never get it right, it's such a nihilistic piece. This is a very rough version, two takes on the piano, and a few takes on the vocal.

I always thought there would be time
but i watched it slip away before my eyes

Looking out, at the edge of the demise

you set me free!

It doesn’t end with a whimper or a bang, 
We just slowly fade to black from where we came
It doesn’t end in flood or fire,
It all just simply falls to our desire

will there ever be another?
