A few small changes to the words...
This was tough, I have such a rough time with recording vocals, i rerecorded some of the vocals and remixed the track..

Getting up at 4a m before the birds are singing
Rise and shine to the smell of coffee percolating
Load up the truck put the gear in the boat we’ll spend the day out fishing 
What a way to spend a saturday, out on the river 
And the coffeeville road is dark and long but we know which way to go
we’ve been this way a million times to our favorite fishing hole…
The old lock and dam on the Tombigbee river..

Take me down to the river one more time
Let me put my feet in the water to ease my mind 
Let’s go while there’s still time, while the light still shines
And we can feel the breeze, and watch the wind blow through the trees 
The way it used to be  
 
The river is life, the river is love, but the river is tough sometimes
And the river is hope, the river  is dreams , as  it runs through our lives
it’s full of the memories of the times we had together
And it feels like it goes on and on, but nothing lasts forever

 And the Coffeeville road don’t seem as long as it did those years ago
And were going one more time to our favorite fishing hole..
