Such a great artist and singer/songwriter.  Real and down to earth
songs that are so relatable.  One of country's greatest.  I love Merle
Haggard and I love this tune.  My thanks to my friend, Lefty Mike,
for his vocals,harp,bass and helping with the recording.  Mike is a 
talented singer/songwriter with great songs on SC.  It would be
a treat to visit his SC page.

This is an old song we wrote a long time ago but never released, due to not being able to find the correct sound we wanted to bring to the song.   Durge came up with the beautiful angelic Ukulele sound and it took the rhythm of the song to another level.   The song is about an Island girl willing her beloved back to her, singing his name and her words of love on a moonlit wind across the seas where he is on a boat, making his living.. and he in turn wills himself back to her as well..   but for now, they see each other in their dreams..  and so the song, is a wish on the heart of two star crossed lovers, and fate will bring them back to each other as the tides turn.

I never really cared for the finished product i posted last week, it never really sounded right. I loved the Roy Bittan style piano, and that took a long time to learn and record, but it didn't work so i scrapped it for the fender organ that i played on the fly. And I transposed it up a third, and reworked the words and completely remixed it.  I think it works a lot better now..
