The night was cool, as we watched the moon move through the trees
The branches swaying overhead, to the music in the breeze
Now we’re alone, underneath a giant moon of gold
Scattered diamonds in the sky, as the summer night unfolds

I don’t know if i’m awake or am i dreaming
Am i alive or have we reached the gates of heaven
I don’t know, but I’ll never let you go
And We won’t let this feeling end
This is where our life begins

The night was made for me and you
But the morning came too soon
And we can never bring it back into the tune
Our love song underneath the lover’s moon
 
Now the light streams in to the bedroom between the window shades
And the dust it dances in the sun like glitter in the rain
  The room is still, as the sunlight crawls across the floor
Who could be in this paradise,, and ask for any more?

I'd give you all your heart desired if I were able
And leave it all for you here on your bedside table
So you would know, how I hate to see you go
Maybe you’ll remember me, In your lazy summer dreams…
