PREMIERE: AUTOFLOWER & BRK (BR) — Interface (Original Mix) [SAPIENT ROBOTS]

The "Croisière du monde", our collaborative album in progress with Roberto B (@user-55822457 and @robertoiib) that focuses on film music but with much variation and cross-genre influences, gains speed today with its 3rd track, "La tempête" - or, in English translation, "The Storm". We hope you'll enjoy it, as it seems to have been the case with the preceding two tracks in this album here on SoundCloud.

The track was created in collaboration on 29 September and 10 October 2021 (initial and subsequent mix and recording in MAGIX by Roberto B), 9 and 13 October 2021 (intermediate and further additions, mix and recording in GarageBand and Logic Pro by Alex M) and 14 October 2021 (final recording and mix in Logic Pro by Alex M), and posted on SC on 15 October 2021 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the album and all its constituent tracks was designed and implemented by Alex M on 29 June 2021 (in Tayasui Sketch in Mac OS), cropped by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 30 June 2021, and annotated with text by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 2 October 2021 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

Thank you so much, Roberto - for the beautiful musical ideas that inspire again our new collaborations in this ongoing "musique de film" - and more - album, "Croisière du monde"!

Hope this Acoustic Indian Harmonium gives you some spiritual joy as it always seems to give me! My apologies for the harsh hitting sounds you will hear in this track...it is however the magical sound of the fanning while playing...my harmonium you see is a most beautiful beast but awfully heavy to hold. I actually held this colossal wooden mass in my lap, on my tippy toes with heels way up high to manage a recording. Hope it sounds okay in the end :)

Thorn on the Collider

He could not bring himself from bed as the alarm pounded against the wall of his skull. The sun snuck into the room through a couple bent blinds and although it bothered him it wasn't enough to raise him. The song began to play and he looked at the light streaks that cut through the dust in his room - suspended by apathy. 

He rolled over to turn the alarm off, and while there, noticed the small box of mementos he must have rifled through last night while he was drunk. He hesitated to put himself through this again, but in the spirit of self-destruction, opened the box, and looked through all the pictures once more - reliving every moment.
