Sometimes I find a beat that inspires me to write a song. Mostly I produce my own but every now and again I come across a gem like this. This beat by L'indecis is called Fried Potatoes and right away it got me thinking of my girlfriend because she is a cook and loves fried potatoes. She also has a thing about the weather always being bad on her days off so I wrote her this little diddy to cheer her up on those cold days. Enjoy!

Weekend Warriors was a collaborative album between a total of 6 MCs, 4 of which make up the members of the group and the other 2 feature on separate tracks. The project was conceived and produced by SkyWryter. Originally the album was titled "Anatomy of a Weekend" and was meant to take you through a weekend in the life of the idealistic "Homey Crew" however when the album was complete the name was changed to "Weekend Warriors" to better reflect the vibe of the tracks. The goal of this album's sound was to be a new school approach to the 90's Golden era of Boom Bap Hip Hop to show that REAL HIP HOP IS STILL ALIVE!
