Looking back, the cake was kinda ass

Crushed promises and the future I imagined erased like a nonsensical passing thought, what felt like eternity now just a immemorial memory. As I feel myself falling in and out of my head, grasping for the pieces of glass I gave you it all feels demeaning. Revolted in myself for not seeing it was only my own torch that was lit.
