After experiencing his brother`s death, Chris Koehn architect and musician, enters musical composition as an introspective grieving process. 
 
2019. 
“Music for films” is released. A downtempo cover project focused on songs about protest, mainly 60´s. mixed at Toy Factory with Grammy producer Phil Vinal. Released by Cleopatra Records, Los Angeles.
 
Arranged and produced by Chris Koehn. Chris Koehn : voice, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, slide guitar, piano, percussion, string pads, glockenspiel, harmonica. 
Featuring : @Ale Moreno ( female vocals). Mastered by Harris Newman at Grey Market Mastering, Montreal. 
2017.
Releases his 2nd EP 
“ Permanent Impermanence” with Canadian/Mexican Indie label Arts & Crafts, mixed at Toy Factory with Grammy producer Phil Vinal. 
He performs in Babalú, Parker & Lenox and Imperial, where he meets Los Angeles record label CEO, specialized in cinema and starts working on “Music For Films” a EP cover project for films and TV. 
 
2013. 
Starts his solo project releasing 
“ Songs For Yoshimi ” a melancholic post punk EP with Indie Label Noiselab Records.  
2008.
Begins his early recordings. The first single dedicated to his brother’s death, is placed in a movie soundtrack. Afterwards he starts working on his first EP.

Life passes by, everything changes.
Everyone in their own way on the quest for happiness.
It is within that search where we can lose ourselves between so many thoughts and daily distractions.

When my brother died, that´s what he left me; A constant reminder of being here, right now. To value and appreciate that nothing is permanent. The more aware we are of it, the more we will value the present, accepting constant change.

In the end, although we all seek different goals or dreams, happiness is an end that we all have in common. Permanent Impermanence (title, based on the Buddhist philosophy of samsara (endlessness)), is my grain of sand to happiness in everyone. I am happy to see the end of my life, grateful for  being able to contribute in others happiness.
