** HIATUS - June 2012 **

On a temporary break, Sleeping Stone has been sidelined to make way for other forthcoming material.

Mason, has been working on some of his side project ideas, including both Blues and Heavy styles and has joined up with the lads over at 'Varliiba' on Bass to get working on their new tracks.

Fox & Mason are continuing on with ETHOS in the meantime. This will be a mixture of acoustic, ambient, progressive rock with electronic influences. More news and links with this soon.

** May 11th

We looked at going back to an older track 'Woollen Vest' which had been left a while ago, we added some bass, but weren't feeling any real progress this evening. So after a random discovery of another old recorded riff, we got a few ideas, threw down some new guitar sections and had a nice idea forming, it's temporarily called 'Punch Me'. More news on this one soon.

** May 3rd

New track work done on the upcoming 'Blanaba Calm', which has developed in leaps and bounds, so excited about this track, it's a great representation of us, a mix of different things we like and it sounds massive. Our new monitors are on the way! More writing to be done in the coming weeks.

** April 22nd

Lack of updates. Our software had a meltdown, and there were various issues preventing us from recording so we took a few weeks off. Getting back into it now with a few new ideas coming up, 'Blanaba Calm' and 'Perderder Groove' as well as 'Neil Youngs Woollen Vest' are currently in the works. Mason overhauled the existing SHF track and gave it some serious depth. More news soon.

** February 24th **

Tonight was less about writing new parts and more about arranging and editing, discussing what we wanted as a band, direction, new ideas, and what was next. We're happy with the fact that we have 4 tracks close to completion as far as music parts go. 
Next up is concentrating on new songs, and waiting for the vocals to be put down to our completed songs. Snow is due down on the 16th of March, so we'll see what other material we can come up with before then.

** February 17/18th **

Refurbished an oldie this weekend. We thickened and diced the 'Battleship' Demo, it's now sounding quite large, all we have left is a few edits and to lay down vocals. Pumped.

** February 2nd 2012 **

We have closed the Project Hydra chapter of this group as we gain momentum and find our feet as a band. 
We will now be known as Sleeping Stone.
Last night we continued on with our track 'NooYawka' rounding out 2 new sections and creating a fuller sound.
Very excited for this one to be finished.

** 27th January 2012 **

Started work on 'NooYawka' and so far we are really pumped with the outcome. The lads have done a great job on this one, smashing out a large portion of track tonight, and we can't wait to finish it.
Snow is looking to record vox ideas from his home studio this weekend.

** 22nd January 2012 **

Work continued today on another new track currently known as 'Old Greg' which has a mostly acoustic feel.

** 21st January 2012 **

Finished the majority of 'Shuffle' with the lads last night, uploaded a demo version of it today. 
Please let us know what you think, of course it still has some work to be done. 
A few new parts have been added to our Acoustic track 'To Perceive' including some more vox, we'll upload that very soon.

** 18th January 2012 **

More track work to continues this weekend. A few tracks will be altered again, Snow is working on Vox ideas from his hilly abode until we can get him down to record.

**January 2012 Update**

Just finished a few days of writing and jamming. New demo version of 'John English' up.
