RSVD kicks off with this Blue Knife EP by its main Korova. Blow Out track reflects the full mentality of the label and comes with a thrilling tension stepping aside a bursting obscure dark progression and sinister heavy beats. Alien Blood is and ufo-like deadly bassline invasion drawing a dark strong hurting texture. Deep Water's original mix is a playful floor-killer techno jacking track. Tsunami rocking upon and over the surface. Its IY's remix is fine rich and dry both mental dark stomping and odd hard hitting one: simple unique. A new excellent proof for the italian duo made by Fusaroli and Filardo.

RSVD002 - Korova & I/Y - Blue knife Ep

Bryan Black AKA Black Asteroid returns to Electric Deluxe with his most precise and daring invention yet. ‘Metal’ picks up from where the ‘Black Acid EP’ left off with more sonic alchemies sounding unlike anything else. The former Prince engineer turned MOTOR front man turned galvanic techno DJ, producer and performer has had an incredible run in his latest guise. Since debuting on CLR with ‘The Engine EP’ over a series of well-shaped and energetic releases Bryan Black has forged a distinct and unique signature that is tactile, otherworldly and utterly timeless. 

Ingenious sound design has become his calling card, while Black’s award winning MOTOR heritage never seems far behind. Moments on ‘Black Acid’ felt like he brought the band to the DJ booth. And with ‘Metal’ the sentiment rings even truer. This is “heavy metal techno,” says Black, “but in a very restrained and controlled way.” Indeed the hum of guitars (synths routed through guitar pedals) whirr through lead track “Metal,” a taut and punchy workout spliced with token Black Asteroid weirdness. Meanwhile Black gets even more contained on the masterfully metronomic “Turbine”.

Droid affiliate Luis Flores and Pinion (Bobby Dowell) then split “Metal” off into its opposing sectors. Flores takes things straight the dance floor, while Pinion ramps up the noise and clangor to turn in a real unholy “Metal” monster. Another must for Black Asteroid fans and for those who like their techno cast from mysterious molds.

CLR079 is Flug´s first release on Chris Liebing´s internationally regarded imprint, a four track EP with original productions by the man who has become one of Argentina´s most promising up and coming Techno artists. The quality and depth of his productions has gained him the respect of numerous famous colleagues and has placed his tracks in the record bags and playlists of some of the most significant global Techno players. 

The EP consists of the title track “Sincrodestino”, as well as further secret weapons “The Following”, “Resistance” and “Consequence”, four faultlessly produced pieces of up-to-date, uncompromising Techno. After playing out Flug´s tracks all over the planet for years, it was only a matter of time that Chris Liebing would offer this gifted and skilled producer to release some of his tracks. The outcome is more than satisfying and we invite you to have a close listen to Flug´s excellent CLR debut.
