Through the fog and neon lights, I could only read two blinking words calling out to me like a siren. "Insert Coin."

Richard Rands is a singer song writer from Leeds. He has been playing guitar since the start of high school and singing since the end! He has played many shows around the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas, including Live at Leeds Festival 2014 at the Fringe venue, Hirsts Yard. As well as being a talented solo acoustic singer songwriter, you might know Richard from his popular band, Bricks Without Straw, who’ve played big electric shows at venues such as The Cockpit in Leeds. Recently Richard spent a month in London trying to further his career as an acoustic performing artist. The trip was a huge success as he gained many friends and important contacts, as well as progressing to the final of the Be On The Scene Battle Of The Bands!! Currently he is recording his Debut EP, which will be released on the 1st January 2015. It will be available to download as well as a physical CD copy! Originally from Derby, Cozen cemented his reputation as a DJ and music producer. With an early start in the Midlands and North of England, Cozen made a name for himself by delivering breakbeats and sing-along edits.

Fueled by a profound love for club culture and admiration for the sounds of the 90s, Cozen's tracks are adorned with spacey pads, gritty breakbeats, and stabs that pay homage to the era of illegal parties and warehouse raves. With releases on labels such as Western Lore, Night Shift Sound, and Kultura Collective, Cozen has earned support from platforms including KeepHush, Rinse FM, NTS and DJ Mag.

Now based in Amsterdam, Cozen has exported his sounds and UK flavours to the dance floors of Holland. His performances blend his love for UK music with the energy of Amsterdam's electronic music scene.
