A des années lumières d’une esthétique souvent préconçue du Jazz vocal, Clotilde Rullaud construit son monde où Gainsbourg rencontre Bill Evans, où Sting se plie au Jazz avec merveille et où les paysages d’Afrique et les senteurs d’Amérique du Sud ne vous lâchent plus. A la tête d’un quartet de choix comptant le pianiste Olivier Hutman, le guitariste Dano Haider et le batteur Antoine Paganotti, Clotilde Rullaud a créé In Extremis, un projet déconcertant d’originalité et de groove et qui s’impose comme l’un des disques majeurs de cette année 2011.
