With over two decades of experience as residents and promoters at The Trades Club and more than thirty years as record shop owners and collectors, AUTOMATIQUE DJs bring a deep well of knowledge, history, and passion for underground electronic music.

AUTOMATIQUE, a long-running club night that spent over 20 years shaping the underground scene in various venues, is now returning after a lengthy hiatus.

Our journey started in 1988 at the dawn of house music. We came up collecting records, playing local gigs, and building a deep connection to the culture. In the 2000s, we partnered in a vinyl record store and worked closely with distributors including Amato, Pinnacle, Unique, Intergroove and others.

A bit of trainspotter folklore: Guy Ornadel bought my copy of Microman – Microhouse. And there were definitely some memorable vinyl exchanges with Chris Cargo.

Driven by a shared love of melodic, progressive, breakbeat and tech house, our influences include:
