You might be familiar with Houston guitarist Tom Triplett from such groups including but not limited to The Real Energy, No Talk, Hammatsu Tom & the Kroger Sushi River Band and the Homopolice.  In more recent times, perhaps you've stood, jaw agape, stunned by Tom's performances and recordings with OBN III's or BLAXXX.  Now, in the summer of 2015, Tom emerges from the shadows of those acclaimed projects, preparing to cast a huge shadow on HIS NEXT BAND. 

Tom is accompanied by drummer Josh Wolf (Secret Prostitutes, Sick Abuse, Crime Wave, The Real Energy, Bloody Hammer, Lysol S.S. and many, many more) and bassist Manie Chen (Titan Blood)

I didn't really think much of it at the time
But then a couple of days later
I was fired from my job
And the reason left me well beyond surprised

Someone had taken what I said
Wrote a ridiculous op-ed

She messaged me and this is what she said,

Not even fifteen minutes later
I had come across a crowd
It was a protest over something someone said
They called for the resignation
Of a man who seemed quite patient 
In explaining what it was he really meant
Apparently the crowd was mad
That he didn't wanna ban
Halloween costumes that might have offended some
When I tried to intervene
A lady lunged out right at me
She summoned some muscle, and then began to hum 
So now a couple hours passed
I'm walking up to my front door
But from my peripheral vision I could see
That a man had dropped his keys
And like a gymnist on trapeze
I caught them in mid-air and said, "Sir, you dropped these"
He turned around in pure disgust
He said, "I'm not even a man
I'm a bigendered girl with manly tendencies"
I said, "Okay, Sir, whatever"
And he called up the police
Now I'm serving six to ten cuz I dared to disagree

Sigh... two long months and I'm finally back.

Right now I'm dealing with working two jobs and I never have the time to mash anymore because I always go straight to sleep when I go home due to being ultra tired. Sometimes I just think to myself "will I ever have any free time to do anything musical anymore?"

I have so many music project ideas and shit piled up, I can't even get to them because of my work and my exhaustion after it. Even at this young age, I have so many responsibilities to take on and I can't make myself happy as I was as an artist like I want to. So many albums I want to make and so many projects to contribute to, yet work is the only thing that is getting me somewhere. I don't want to be inactive again...

I need your prayers that I feel better and get better, if you pray. But if you don't then all I need is you support you've been giving me for the 4 1/2 years I've been in the mashup game. Thank you for understanding and hopefully more will come very soon. Peace love and soul.
