THIS is exactly one of the reasons why the new reboot of Supermarket Sweep failed. They didn't bring back this memorable theme. They should've brought this music, Randy West, and Dave (if he wanted) all back.

This is amazingly catchy. I just have a couple of questions though: first, how did you come up with the melody to this? Second, do you have the original theme from when the show premiered in 1990? If you do, please post it.

It appears your description of Supermarket Sweep is slightly wrong, Showtime is a movie channel, and the actual network that aired the 1990 version of Supermarket Sweep is actually Lifetime.  This comment is heads up for the sake of accuracy
