Jamie Stevens: Live From Balance Croatia 2025

Italian label regular Alex Vanni returns with his signature progressive sound on his latest EP, T H I N G. 

The title track is a vocal-infused, playful, and club-ready progressive tune with impeccable drive. Its standout breakdown features an intricate interplay of melodic duos that build tension before dropping into a bouncy, dancefloor-ready groove.

On the B-side, Run delivers a more intense, rolling progressive vibe with a strong trance appeal. Vocal samples and a thick, atmospheric energy give the track its edge, offering a deeper, more driving contrast to the A-side.

Together, both tracks showcase Alex Vanni’s versatility and craftsmanship, making Thing a strong and cohesive EP for any progressive set.

Over the course of the summer, I’ve had the pleasure of DJing ‘poolside’ at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza several times. It’s a completely different approach to my usual DJ sets. Laidback vibes in a chilled daytime setting around that infamous Club Tropicana piscina. 

Here’s a set I’ve put together that captures that style. From low slung, dubbed out Balearic grooves to off-kilter psychedelic electronica to glorious sunkissed soul. And everything inbetween! With love from Ibiza x
