The first hour of a set recorded live at The Wardrobe in Leeds. A mixture of Latin, Afro Beat, Instrumental Hip Hop and Jazz.

The Mad Egyptians were a (mainly) four-piece rock/pop combo from Wakefield. Existed in various forms from 1986 until finally retiring in 1992.

The profile picture on top left is taken in a rehearsal room at Stanley Community Centre (it does include you, Kayey but soundcloud altered their template so it chopped you off; apologies, lad. You're pulling a shoe-gaze pose though, so your face is covered in hair. You can see half of you if you look carefully).

Festival Road was the next project initiated by Mick and Jim. With some trepidation Jim took on singers job and Sean Mulheir joined on guitar. Along with Chris McAndrew on sax and Chris Stephenson on drums they rehearsed every Thursday for about 18 months in Newmillerdam until Mick went off to University and Jim moved to Leeds 6. They only performed in public once, to about 20 punters, in the upstairs, ground floor function space at Players Snooker Club on Kings Street in Wakefield, as it was in 1993.
