My submission for Tommy Lee's new song 'Louder' featured on the new Tommy's Methods of Mayhem album. 
The album, produced by Scott Humphrey, is unique in that it is composed partially of renditions and parts submitted by individuals from around the world (myself included) based on the demos (stems) of each song that were posted online at thepublicrecord.com. Both the band and Humphrey listened to the recordings, which numbered over 10,000 – choosing the best and most fitting submission ideas to add to the song's final mix. In speaking about those who submitted their parts to the music, vocalist Tommy Lee said that:

    "There is a lot of undiscovered talent out there, from kids just getting started, to shirt tuckers who have a 9 to 5 that just rock out in a bar band on the weekends. They don't want to be famous, but those guys are stars."

An extended album edit that I did on a friend's request. A fellow DJ asked if it might be possible to get a version that was more "club worthy" being that the album version was too short and lacked a proper intro and outro. This is the end result of that request.
I edited the album version and the instrumental together along with several samples added in along the way.

Methods of Mayhem - Fight Song - Tommy Lee feat Lyda Villamarin

La música fue y es un denominador común en cada momento de mi vida. Como un sentido agregado a los demás ya pre existentes, como una filosofía de vida, como una religión. Desde mis primeros latidos, hasta los últimos, habrá música.

Comencé a tocar la guitarra en 1986, con 17 años de edad. Al principio intentando hacer acordes de oído, luego con un profesor del barrio. Teoria, solfeo, pentagramas. Me aburría, así que seguí otra vez de oido. En 1987 me regalaron mi primera guitarra eléctrica, una Giannini modelo explorer.

Durante los años que siguieron escuche de todo desde Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana hasta Motley Crue. Durante mi adolescencia tuve varias bandas de rock. A los 25, en el año 1994, armamos una banda que duró 4 años. Su llamo PLUSH, y pasó del Alternativo a un estilo Progresivo. La banda finalizó luego de algunas diferencias. Después de ese periodo fui a Australia a estudiar Ingenieria de Sonido, allí grabe con bandas locales. Fue una experiencia magnífica que hoy guardo en mi memoria y en tapes.

En 2005 vuelvo al país después de haber estado por Europa, USA y Brasil trabajando y tocando en bandas.
Al volver decidí escribir temas solo y ponerme a trabajar en canciones desde su concepción hasta el desarrollo final, escribiendolas, tocandolas, grabandolas y produciendolas. Resultado de la experiencia obtenida en todos estos años.

Entre grabaciones participe en el disco "Methods of Mayhem" de Tommy Lee (baterista de Motley Crue) en un trabajo conjunto con músicos de todo el mundo vía internet. Mi participación se puede escuchar en el tema Louder con producción de Scott Humphrey.

Por último en el momento estoy trabajando en mi proyecto, aún sin nombre, preparando temas de mi autoría, sin destino definido.

Music was and is a common denominator in every moment of my life. As an extra sense to the preexisting five, as a philosophy of life, as a religion. From my first beat to the last, there will be music.

I started playing guitar in 1986 when I was 17. At first trying to make chords by ear, then with a teacher from the neighborhood. Music Theory, notation, scales. It bored me, but I kept playing and playing. In 1987 I've got my first electric guitar, a brazilian Giannini Explorer.

During the years that followed I've been listening to everything from Beatles to Jimi Hendrix to Nirvana to Motley Crue. During my teens I've been playing in several rock bands. At 25, in 1994, I formed a band that lasted four years. Our name was PLUSH, and we went from an Alternative style to a more Progressive style. The band ended after some differences. After that period I went to Australia to engage in a sound engineer career, recording with local bands. It was a wonderful experience that I'll keep in my memory and luckily in my tapes.

In 2005 I returned to my country after having traveled Europe, USA and Brazil and worked and played in bands.
Back home I decided to work on my own material from conception to end. Writing, producing, recording and playing. As a result of the experience gathered from all these years.<p>

Between recordings I did my contribution on the new Methods of Mayhem "A Public Disservice Announcement" by Tommy Lee  (Motley Crue) and producer Scott Humphrey a collaborative work with musicians from around the world via the Internet - The Public Record. My collaboration can be heard on the track Louder.

I'm very thankful of being in the age of digital music and be able to show my work to friends and unknown people around the world. I hope you enjoy my music. 

Finally, right now I'm working on my project, yet unnamed, with original songs, without definite purpose.
