Big Ro Williams is a native of Birmingham Al. The Alabama Hall Of Fame nominee has a long list of soulful songs that include five #1 chart-toppers on the American Blues Network. In 2018 Big Ro Williams as Best Male Blues Artist winner for the Alabama Music Awards. 
 He grew up listening to the soulful music produced by great record labels like Motown, Epic, Stax, and Jive. He favored the sound of artists like Teddy Pendergrass, Eddie Levert, Ollie Woodson, Marvin Gay, Johnny Taylor, and Bobby Womack. Big Ro Williams taught himself to play several instruments but he loved the drums most of all. He played the drums for southern soul artist Sir Charles Jones. Coming to the front grabbing the mic was not a problem because the way he dictates the rhythm gave him an advantage in how he delivered his soulful sound. His style is like no other and his sound is amazing which will allow him to be a musical factor for years to come.
