We're big fans of the Relish Comp (@headman) series, so we were excited when the most recent instalment arrived a few weeks ago. As to be expected, Relish Comp V features an amazing array on tracks from some of the hottest artists around at the moment. Including Borusiade, Curses, Mondowski, Sebastien Chenut, Autarkic, Headman, Younger Than Me, Pin up Club, The Mansisters and Maya Danon. 

Our favourite track has changed a number of times, which shows what a great package this is. but in the end this beauty from @youngerthanme edged it and we've had on repeat these past weeks. We're sure you'll love it too.

PREMIERE - Younger Than Me  - Universal Love (Relish Comp V)

Night Noise Music is back with its 30th release, returning to its roots of seeking out unknown talent and providing a platform to support their endeavours. Their latest discovery is @AsiminAsanof aka Edin Haliti, a musician, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist based in Rijeka, Croatia. Here he delivers two epic original tracks which get remixed by Jonny Sender and Yarni to great effect.

Asimin Asanof is known for covering a wide array of genres and has almost two decades of experience in the game. He is founder of a club night called ʼSlasticarnaʼ and this alias of his is designed to re-introduce kraut rock and Italo disco vibes to classic house and electro sounds. Using synths and live instruments, he takes cues from Eastern and African music and all that shines through here.

Sheffield artist @itsYarni steps up to remix Aluminium Beach coming fresh off the success of his recent album on the label. His version is smooth, spaced out, with great melodies and soulful chords bringing a laid-back feel to ‘Aluminium Beach’.

Formerly known as J.E.E.P., Jules Etienne is back on Cocktail d’Amore Music with Triangle Des Bermudas. 
Referencing the legendary region in the Western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, this EP opens up to a mysterious space of adventure and discovery. 
The title track is a down tempo, balearic, and mystical ballad. Sounding like a ship moving slowly, but fiercely toward unexplored territories. The toms resemble a voice coming up from the depth of the sea, the pads like fluffy clouds reflecting off the waves.  
Massimiliano Pagliara is on remix duty, blowing on the sails and taking the ship into a cosmic expedition. This is deep and dreamy house music with cascading string lines combining effortlessly with hypnotic drums.
A driving arpeggio melts sweet and delicate with celestial strings, dreamlike vocals and breezy percussions in Cuban Omelette. While John’s Job is a vivid dialogue between hand percussions, echoed toms and a sturdy baseline.

Weaponed with 4 new tracks by Vanessa Worm and Sau Poler, Fort Romeau and Ali Tillet's delightful Cin Cin label further explores leftfield territories and electronic rhythms.

Sau Poler has been a constant in modern-day electronica with a string of infectious releases for Atomnation and Modern Obscure Music. Hazy, tropical auras are deployed on 'Primitiu', as a raw 303 bassline cuts through a vivid sonic wilderness. 'Lunatic Decay' also plunders a dense and equatorial sound, with a hypnotizing percussive rhythm holding steady a cloud of experimental sound design and studio inventiveness.

Jorkes collaborate with Hard Ton to release a sensual single on their Freeride Millenium imprint including remixes from Massimiliano Pagliara, Soulphiction and his alias Jackmate. 
 Taking inspiration from a vast musical sphere, the Munich-Vienna pair Jorkes are widely recognised for their open-minded and passionate approach to electronic music which is translated through their Freeride Millenium imprint and own unique productions. ‘Cross The Line’ will be the duo’s first outing since 2016 seeing them join up with the Italian pair Hard Ton who are known for releases on Wonder Stories, Luv Shack Records, Toy Tonics and many more. Jorkes invite Live At Robert Johnson artist Massimiliano Pagliara and Philpot founder Soulphiction aka Jackmate for remix duties which tops off this distinctive release highlighting the openness and sensibility of their musical philosophy. 
 ‘Cross The Line’ begins the EP with alleviating pads balanced harmoniously with alluring, heart-warming vocals and gentle keys drifting throughout before Massimiliano Pagliara delivers an infectious remix focusing on hypnotic bass grooves, effervescent drums and undulating pads fluttering naturally with the stirring modulations. 
 ‘Jackmate’s Dub Mix’ deploys low-riding resonations fused with muffled tones and thrilling, shuffling rhythms within whereas ‘Jackmate’s 90s Mix’ focuses heavily on organic percussion rolling throughout with robust musical elements and looping vocals. Soulphiction’s ’Dub Mix’ completes the pack with a tranquil take on the original laying focus on funk-infused instrumentals and subdued jazz drums keeping the atmosphere smooth yet enticing.

Exclusive Iron Curtis 'Against My Window (Dazed Mix)'

For Uncanny Valley's 50th catalogue number called Valley 50: Green the label from Florence on the Elbe known as Dresden invited as many as four artists to contribute musical pieces to make the EP musically as colorful as the label and its philosophy – uniting like minded people on their label/ platform. The fifth color, Green, thus features music from Perm, Dispo 5000, cvbox and Iron Curtis. The latter, a Berliner by choice, comes up with Against My Window (Dazed Mix) a track with a determined groove that easily sucks its audience into its musical adaptation beforethe techno-ish meaningful mind sucker carries you far away from every day troubles right onto the dance floor to dance the aforementioned away. Against My Window (Dazed Mix) is one of these timeless almost classy takes that dancers and DJs equally connect with a night in one of these electronic music temples as it simply covers and captures this unique dark yet dreamy vibe.

EXCLUSIVE: Iron Curtis - Against My Window (Dazed Mix) [Uncanny Valley]

Hot Concept continues with a third release, ‘Not Colour Absolute’, courtesy of a hero of the UK underground, Bleaching Agent. Best known for his blistering techno and glorious legacy as one half of surprisingly influential gabber-italo duo Blacknecks, Bleaching Agent’s debut release on Hot Concept takes it's title from a line by French Decadent poet Paul Verlaine, who might well have approved of the record's unprecocious celebration of hedonism, had he not died well over a century ago.

‘On Returning’ is a warm, trippy house anthem, acid lines dancing around binary vocal samples that seem to be attempting to communicate something potentially quite lovely.

UK talent Dan Wainwright drops ‘Rituals’, a three track offering of mutant disco sounds on Night Noise Music backed with a remix from Joe Morris, this June. With a catalogue that takes in edits for To Rack and Ruin and Creative Use as well as singles for the likes of Hungarian HotWax and Through God’s Own Eyes, Wainwright is steadily becoming a must-check for those who enjoy lower tempo nightclub sounds of a discoid nature and this EP, already given ALFOS approval by Sean Johnston, shows why.

Opening with the anthemic ‘Raindance’, a growling groover characterised with bright, evolving synth hooks and tight delays which culminates in balearic guitar bliss, Joe Morris’ Dubwise remix of ‘Rain Dance’ closes out the package in, as the title suggests, nifty dubbed out style.
