From 18th December, 2021 - ROTATION - Live from Monarch in San Francisco shared decks with David Harness and Jayvi Velasco, while in the lounge, DJ Proof and Ivan Ruiz worked the one and twos with Funk/Soul/Disco sets...this is my set which includes a fair amount of "classics" so, if you're in that listening mode, this should quench your thirst...also featuring a few recent releases to round out my set...and I'll say this - playing vinyl presents that something-something that is distinct and different from programming digital sets...it's not an elitist thing and I can't really explain it any better but it is certainly a unique experience...could be the actual handling of those plastic platters - maybe?? This week DK starts proceedings with a track off the Shabazz Palaces album and continues with mid tempo cuts from Mr Scruff, Dego and the superb Andrew Wetherall remix of 'Watch me dance' by Toddla T. Then it's a 99 Records classic from Liquid Liquid and into new music from Offshore and Raffertie, before the haunting sounds of Zomby slip into Fink and Radiohead. We up the tempo with Maya Jane Coles, Martyn's new single and EXCLUSIVE tracks from CID Rim and Roots Manuva with 'Go Champ' from his forthcoming album on Big Dada. Finally, it's more from Dark Sky, the epic "Ready Set Loop" from SBTRKT and lush sounds from Thundercat's new album on Brainfeeder to end the first half.

Disciples - Essential Mix 2017-01-21

Tresor is the pulse of Techno.  Always has been.  Thinking back to my last time playing at Tresor, some 21 years passed by since July 28, 1997.  So I wanted to make this set special.  Unfortunately, the batteries died in the middle of recording the set and it seems as if the levels were a bit hot.  A tracklist will follow.  For now I just wanted to get it out there.

We are honored to feature a show dedicated to the legendary Demarkus Lewis. Demarkus has been releasing music for 20 years, runs his own label(s) and has released his productions on basically every important label in house music. We share a spot with him on the roster for Ama Luna Booking (ALB&M) and have been fans of his since the Swerve 12" release days "way back when." The first hour of the show is DJ Thomas White playing soon-to-be-released and classic tracks from Demarkus, with the second hour featuring a new DJ mix from the D-Man himself.
